Neyland

5k run – 22k bike – 2.5k run

Based around the sea front in Neyland, this is the second year we have hosted this event.  The 2009 event, held on 29th March, had a record number of entries, hosted the Welsh Duathlon Championships, and was the first round of the Welsh Triathlon Grand Prix Series.  It was also the first round of the Pembrokeshire Tri Multisport Challenge, with the remaining 2 events being the Pembrokeshire Coast Triathlon (11th July) and Pembrokeshire Half Marathon (27th September). Entries are open for both of these events. 

Final results from the event can be found by clicking on one of the links below.  We had some difficulties taking times and numbers at the bike mount line (we have learnt our lessons for next year!), so apologies if we missed your split. It should be noted however that some were due to race numbers not being clearly visible. This will have affected your first run and bike splits.  In some cases (around 12) we have estimated split times, but even these will be within 20 seconds or so of your actual time. Charity

The event raised money for Adam’s Bucketful of Hope Appeal.  Please click on the link for more information about who they are and what they do.  The race alone raised over £1,500, and we hope that many of you were also able to raise your own sponsorship using the forms provided.  Please ensure monies are collected and paid in as soon as possible.
