Club Triathlon - 28 May 2006

400m Swim / 15.5k Bike / 3.1k Run

This year's annual Club Triathlon will again take place in Haverfordwest, following the same course as in the past several years - a 400m swim in Haverfordwest Pool, a 15.5k bike from there to the Cricket Club via the Haven Road, Broadway, and back along the Dale road, and a 3.1k run past the Belle Vue, along the Haven Road, Park Corner Road and back to the Cricket Club.

The race is open to Club members only - but at just £6 entry (£3 students / unwaged) even coupled with the annual membership fee of £10 (£5 unwaged / students) it still makes for a cheap race for current non-members! The field is limited to JUST 32, so get your entries in soon - first come, first served. The minimum age limit is 15 (age as at 31st December 2006). As usual any Club members not taking part in the race are expected to help out on the day - it will all be over in two hours! And you'll get a hot roll and mug of tea or coffee thrown in. We need about 12 people to do jobs on the day, including Race Director, 2 timekeepers, 4 lane counters and about 6 marshalls. Please contact Julie with offers of support.
