Pembrokeshire Duathlon

17th March 2013

5k run – 22k bike – 2.5k run

Based around the sea front in Neyland, this popular race is suitable for athletes of all abilities. Many people chose to take part in a relay team of 2 or 3 people.

The first run is 5k, and heads out under the Cleddau Bridge along the cycle path. The course is flat and fast. The bike section heads up towards Waterston - this is a steady climb, but not too steep. It then heads right before getting to Waterston, and goes towards Honeyborough, where a section of road is repeated. This section has some slight climbs, but nothing too testing. Finally, the route heads back downhill to Neyland.

The last stage is the second run, which is 2.5 km. It again heads out towards the cycle path. The finish is just in front of the Yacht Club.

This is the venue for the race, and where the prizes will be presented. We will be giving prizes for age categories and relay teams.

We encourage fancy dress - with a prize will be given to the competitor with the best fancy dress!

To give an idea about the race, we have kept information about the 2012 race online until the 2013 details are finalised.
