Vale of Neath Triathlon

A good show for the club with Patrick Martin in at 3rd place, Luke Watson 5th - 1st placed junior - Mark Jones 28th and Les Watson just beating Jake Watson.

The rain, cold and very early start did not cheer any one up... and as for the transition in a field of 10 inch grass, it looked to be a fun day.

The swim was only a 250m pool swim, so was out of the way very quickly and after geting to your bike through the long wet grass it was a very fast cycle on a very flat dual carrigeway... even i managed to run the full 4.5k at the end, must be those new shoes from Jim's, but i think Les had more problems with his... a jolly good morning of fun!
